Mullet (Chelon labrosus)

 

  • Description: Upper lip thick, with rows of small tubercles on the lower edge. Large head, flat top. Dark gray back, silver sides and white belly.
  • Size: Up to 40-60cm.
  • Diet: omnivorous species. It feeds fine flakes, pellet, shrimp, mussels, etc. Sometimes it can be seen as undesirable nibble algae from the aquarium.
  • Temperature: 15 to 22 º C
  • Habitat: They live normally shoals near the surface and in rocky and sandy.
  • Maintenance: Difficulty very low. Animal very tough.
